The whole country was in a state of shock and excitement when Dancehall act Shatta Wale’s face popped up in a pupil’s textbook, which was approved by the Ghana Education Service.

The book which was published by Alpha and Omega Series has a biography of him, and even urges the Children to sing and dance to his songs as a practical exercise to be marked by teachers.

But it seems the excitement was short lived, as parents and the elderly are outraged about the role Shatta wale is supposed to play in the lives of children, after his latest music video was aired.

Their concerns were expressed towards the content of the music video, as it is deemed too explicit from a person who is supposed to be mentoring kids.

It was even alleged that the “Already” hit singer was paid a hefty sum of 2Million Ghana Cedis By Government to Promote creative arts in Ghana, and this even fuels their anger since they feel other candidates in the entertainment industry would’ve done a better job.

Well, while some feel Shatta is the right person for the role per his reach and influence, others are also calling for Government to reconsider their choice of endorsement.
